Football Fabric began with a simple idea: could a website feel like a living tapestry of the terraces? We started by gathering stories, images, and chants from across the Scottish Premiership, then explored how to translate that raw energy into a digital format. Early prototypes focused on collage‑style layouts, but performance quickly became the biggest challenge — fans needed a site that loaded instantly, even on match‑day mobile traffic. Using Next.js as the backbone, we optimised fonts, images, and scripts to strip away every millisecond of delay. SEO was baked in from the start, ensuring that fan stories and matchday culture would surface in search. The process was iterative and collaborative, with each sprint balancing visual chaos with technical discipline. In the end, Football Fabric became more than a site: it’s a fast, discoverable, and authentic celebration of Scottish football culture. The client’s reaction — and the fans’ adoption — confirmed that the journey delivered exactly what was needed.
